Our labour relations staff help our members manage a wide range of work issues. From issues related to your collective agreement to human rights, health and safety at work, we are here to help. The members of the ICPP are the professionals who work for the people of Ottawa. Through collective bargaining, representation and representation of interests, the ICPP works for its members so that they can focus on the work for which they are passionate. We are committed to our members, to our community and to quality public services. A highly strategic and progressive leader, the ideal candidate will have great emotional intelligence, informed judgment and excellent communication and presentation skills. Labour relations, whether union or employer-friendly, are necessary, as is the ability to be accommodating and, if necessary, to reach necessary compromises. Experience in designing and implementing an organization`s strategic plan and participating in all internal and external stakeholders would be beneficial, as would a university degree in economics, human resources, labour relations or a related field of study. The ICIPP advocates for employment equity and actively encourages applications from women, Aboriginal Canadians, people with disabilities and visible minorities.
